14-year-old boy in a Joker costume threatened to shoot his school students in Halloween. Employees of the school reported to the police as soon as they found out about it, the newspaper writes. Daily News.
The management of the Graduate School of Arts and Business, located near Horace Harding Expressway and next to 108 Street in Corona, called 911 after the boy threatened to "kill people after school."
“Today will be a good day for shooting,” he said.
A teenager dressed in a Joker costume asked whether the windows were bulletproof at school, law enforcement officials said.
The police took the guy into custody and sent for a psychiatric examination. However, no charges were brought against him.
“Safety is always in the first place, and we provide additional support to the school community,” said Isabelle Bundi, spokeswoman for the Department of Education. “There is no real threat, all students and staff are safe.”
Critics have expressed concern about the movie "The Joker," which was released on 4 in October, claiming that it glorifies the killer and could provoke outbreaks of violence. In some cinemas it is forbidden to come to screenings of films in suits, and police are on duty at the doors.
