A 10-year-old girl has fallen to her death from a window in New York City after apparently being left home alone, according to NYPost.
Police were called to 2157 Southern Boulevard, East Tremont, in the Bronx around 20:45 p.m. on September 12 for reports of a child falling from a building window.
The little girl may have been home alone at the time. Police said she had injuries consistent with a fall from a large heights, in particular bruises on the legs.

A resident of the house who had lived there for more than 30 years admitted that she was the one who called 911.

By the time she got downstairs, the family had gotten into a taxi to take the girl to the hospital.

The neighbor noticed that the family was very closed and the little girl was shy.
To date, no charges have been filed and no one has been arrested in connection with the case.
