New York may have a reputation for being tough and bloodthirsty, but there are stories that restore faith in humanity to even the most cynical of us. One such story happened to Eduardo Martinez right in Times Square, according to NBC New York.
A man from Honduras lost his wallet on March 2 in the morning as he walked through the ever-busy and touristy Times Square. The wallet belonged to Eduardo Martinez, who said he dropped it as he hurried to work near Broadway and West 49th Street.
In addition to the standard items, there was $4000 in cash inside when Martinez said he lost them.

He later returned to the area and frantically searched for his missing wallet when two officer saw him and approached him. They received a wallet from a woman who said she found it. She also drove to work at about the same time as Martinez.
After checking the documents, the police returned Martinez's wallet. And, oddly enough, all $4000 was still inside.
Martinez said in Spanish that there were still honest people and that he was very grateful to the woman and the policemen for their help.
