At Pier 17 in New York, New York's signature winter cabins will again be installed on the roof this year. Cozy dining booths will open to visitors on Monday, November 17, writes Time-out.
Each custom-built structure can accommodate up to eight people, with 32 rooftop cabins available. Their comforts will include a digital fireplace, unique armchairs, heaters, and - and perhaps most excitingly - stunning views of New York City.
In terms of decor, these heated cabins are reminiscent of ski resorts. And the surrounding scenery only enhances this effect. Pier 17 has actually become the closest mountain resort to Manhattan.

You can reserve your little oasis of winter comfort here:... Please be aware that a $ 20 fee will apply to all bookings.
Once in your private booth, you can scan the QR code to access a menu that looks different from what was offered last year. Among the dishes worth noticing are arroz con pollo with matcha salsa, pickled chili, cilantro and lemon, and tuna maki roll served with hot chili emulsion, sesame seeds and shiso. You can also order cocktails that your personal waiter will serve directly to the booth.
