This Centre provides free online and offline services including job listings, recruiting events and job search resources, resume and interview workshops, and job training.

- be authorized to legally work in the United States.

Access Training
Appropriate training can provide you with the education and experience you need to get a job or advance your career. Access Training uses industry research to develop training programs to ensure the skills you acquire meet employers' expectations. Access Training offers training programs in in-demand careers such as healthcare construction and data analytics at locations throughout the city.
To participate in this program or qualify for individual training grant (ITG), you must meet the following requirements:
- reach 18 years of age;
- reside in New York City;
- be legally able to work in the United States.
If you are currently working, you must earn less than $63 per year. Some programs have additional requirements.

Career Discovery NYC
This program helps you learn about specific industries and the skills needed to get jobs in those industries. If you are interested in one of these professions, you can take free online training through the program.
New York State Job Training Program for Highly Skilled Immigrants
This program, funded by New York State, is expanding job search services for highly skilled immigrants. It provides free job training and job placement to help new immigrants find jobs that match their skills and experience.
Services include job training for new immigrants from diverse cultural and occupational backgrounds, industry training such as preparation for technical or vocational training or relicensing, and job search support with job coaches for other needs, including the skills assessment process.
To qualify for these services, you must meet the following requirements:
- stay in the United States for no more than ten years;
- have an intermediate or advanced level of English proficiency;
- be a resident of New York State;
- have a work permit.
Immigrants are eligible to receive job search assistance from the Office for New Americans. The organization's employment consultant can be reached in New York City at Upwardly Global, 505 8th Ave., Suite 1100, New York, NY 10018, or call the New Americans Hotline at 800-566-7636 between 9 a.m. and 00 p.m.: 20 from Monday to Friday.
Job Training Resources for Undocumented Immigrants
Many free job training resources in New York require participants to be authorized to legally work in the United States. But in March, New York City announced it would create Office of Asylum Seeker Operations (OASO). This project is designed to help asylum seekers arriving in New York quickly settle in and access resources related to employment, training, and more. Under the plan, the city will partner with the State University of New York at Sullivan (SUNY Sullivan) in a pilot program to provide job training and housing to undocumented immigrants awaiting work authorization. The program provides housing for 100 asylum seekers who are eligible for training.
Make the Road New York offers food handler certification and health professional training programs for members and non-members.
Programs include 17-week Bridge to Health Careers training offered twice a year for Community Health Worker Training and Food Handlers Certification in Brooklyn and Queens.
