A child in New Jersey fell from the window of his house into an enclosure with dogs: they gnawed him

A three-year-old boy from Elizabeth, New Jersey, died after falling from a window of his home into a dog kennel, which eventually mauled him. The details of the incident that happened on the afternoon of June 9, told the publication New York Post.

The boy fell from a window 10 feet (3 meters) into a backyard dog kennel. When the police arrived, he was seriously injured and died in hospital an hour later.

A woman who lives near the house where the tragedy occurred said she saw a man run out of the yard with a bloodied child.

“I heard something like a blow, and then shouts: “Help! No, stop, no, stop,” said a neighbor who declined to give her name.

The family's dogs, which were in the backyard enclosure, were taken by the local animal control agency, placed in quarantine and euthanized. According to neighbors, they were pit bulls, but the authorities have not yet named the breed of animals. A woman who lives nearby said the dogs were always aggressive, jumping on the fence and barking as she walked past the house.
