Visiting New York City during the holidays cannot be imagined without the colorful, vibrant and exciting showcases in major retail stores. Throughout the holiday season, Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdales windows illuminate and decorate the streets. Lohud.

Famous holiday showcases Macy's will introduce Tiptoe - a reindeer recruit for Santa Claus. He sets out for his dream - to join the team of Santa's sleigh. Friends help Tiptoe gain more confidence. And she makes her dream come true "reminding everyone to believe."
After hosting a virtual event in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Macy's Santaland is returning this year in person. Families can meet Santa Claus from Nv. from November 26 to December 24 (only by prior request). Reservations can be made on the Macy's website up to five days in advance. Guests of Santa Claus must wear a mask. Entrance to Santaland is free, although photo packs are available.

Bloomingdale's

For the 2021 season, Bloomingdale windows are “inspired by the joy and optimism” of their Make Happiness campaign. Each of the six showcases store permeated with nostalgia, festive festivities and gushes with colors.
In the first south-facing window towards 59th Avenue, you will see a smiling robot accompanied by a mini-selfie robot. The decoration allows visitors to literally immerse themselves in the atmosphere. In other windows of the store, you can see a family of penguins playing together. There will be a spinning ballerina, mannequins in cozy crocheted clothes. Kids will love the 1980s-style dinosaur skateboard and Red Wrap-ture.

Saks Fifth Avenue

Subject: Dreaming of ... featuring Girls Opportunity Alliance, Obama Foundation program
Now that he is 12 years old, holiday shop windows on Saks Fifth Avenue and a 10-story light show will showcase the dreams of New York City kids. Each holiday showcase is "inspired by the theme of reuniting with family and loved ones on the holidays." The Saks Fifth Avenue team reaches out to New York City kids, including the Boys and Girls Club Madison square... They were asked the question "what do they dream of doing with their loved ones for the holidays." The children's responses included games, trips, carnivals, candy, and more.
The 10 storey building encompasses six showcases and a lighting set of 700 LED lights. There are also songs, including "Christmas - baby, please come home" by Darlene Love, "So happy together" by The Turtles, "Russian language", dance from "The Nutcracker", "Bell Tower" and others.
Former US First Lady Michelle Obama, founder of the Girls Opportunity Alliance, helped Saks Fifth Avenue open the windows with the New York Youth Choir.
