It's Halloween Season at the Bronx Zoo with 5 animal-shaped pumpkins and fun for the whole family

Halloween is just around the corner and the Bronx Zoo is already preparing for a huge pumpkin festival - the first of its kind for this iconic location, according to Time out.
Pumpkin nights in Bronx Zoo will begin on Thursday, September 28th and will run from 18:00 pm to 22:00 pm on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until October 29th.
The fall festival will feature more than 5 pumpkins, wood carved animals and incredible lighting along the 000-meter-long jack-o'-lantern trail. Pumpkin Nights features pumpkin carving demonstrations, games, festive fall treats and food trucks for everyone to enjoy.
This new nighttime attraction from the Bronx Zoo is inspired by the theme “What Animals Do After Dark.” Pumpkin sculptures and decorations, special lighting, themed music, and fall treats and activities before and after the trail. There will be photo ops for the whole family and fun seasonal outdoor games. Costumes are of course welcome.
Tickets for Pumpkin Nights are $34,95 for adults 12 and older and $24,95 for children 3 to 12 on Thursdays and Sundays, and $36,95 for adults and $26,95 for children on Fridays and Saturdays Children under 3 years old are admitted free of charge. Wildlife Conservation Society members receive a 40% discount.
