Six cars and a bus collided in Brooklyn: the culprit of the accident drove without a license

According to police, the woman driving one of the cars was the culprit MTA bus accidents. According to NYPD Vehicle Collision Investigation Unit investigators, a white car crashed into an MTA bus, at least six other vehicles were involved in the chain reaction, and a total of 15 people were injured.
Chandiana Jean, 23, was driving a 2003 Chevy Impala driving north on Essex Street near New Lots Avenue in Brooklyn. Around 20:30 p.m., she crashed into a 2021 Toyota Sienna from behind, driven by a 22-year-old man.
The impact sent the Sienna through the intersection, crashing into a Ford Escape SUV with a 55-year-old man behind the wheel, who had stopped at a STOP sign.
According to police, Jean's Impala crashed into an MTA B15 bus as it continued through the intersection.

Her rear passenger, a 44-year-old woman, was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where she was in critical condition.
Police said eight people on the bus were taken to hospital, including the 38-year-old driver who suffered a rib injury.
The rest included four men aged 30, 44, 56 and 60 and three women aged 20, 46 and 55, all with minor injuries.
Jean was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after the accident, and then she was charged with aggravated illegal driving, as well as possession of an illegal vehicle, because the car was not registered.
A 26-year-old man, who was also a passenger in her car, was taken to the same hospital with minor injuries.
The 22-year-old driver of the Toyota Sienna traveled to Brookdale with back and neck injuries, while the occupants of the vehicle, a 43-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman, were taken to the same hospital with minor injuries.
Police said the 55-year-old driver of the Ford Escape was taken to a Kings County hospital with minor injuries.
A total of 15 people were injured, police said.
