The state of New York was the safest in the United States: there are few crimes in the cities

Following a historic rise in annual homicides, a new study by CCTV Camera World has compiled a list of the 100 safest cities in America through 2022. Sixteen New York City cities made the list, many of them in the top 25. News 10.

Crime has declined over the past decade. But lately the violence caused COVID-19, along with political, social and racial tensions, led to an increase in violence. Property crime has been declining for the 18th year in a row.
