An operator spotted two people on a railroad track north of the Sutter Avenue-Rutland Road station in Brownsville shortly after 6:45 a.m. He notified police and firefighters, who responded immediately, according to MTA sources.
Both people died at the scene, the sources said. According to them, the bodies were found in close proximity to each other. Both were men who were considered homeless.
