One person has died and another is in the hospital after a tractor and trailer drove off the ramp of Highway 287 in Westchester, reports New York Post.
The tractor driver who died in the collision “lost control and rolled over the rail” at Exit 9A. It connects highways 287 and 684. It happened around 10:20 am, authorities said.

According to police and photos from the scene, his tractor fell onto I-287 westbound, upside down.
The hospitalized person was a passenger in the car involved in the accident.
Rescuers blocked all traffic in the western direction, starting from exit 9, as well as the left lane in the east direction. This was stated in a statement by the commander of one of the police detachments, Major Scott D. Field.
