New York is one of the most expensive cities in the world. It is not surprising that here are some of the best universities USA. According to Silive, five educational institutions in New York were included in the ranking of the 20 most expensive of them.
The study was conducted by the site The College Investor. Their focus is investing and personal finance for millennials. To create the rankings, the researchers used published tuition and fees data for each institution for one year.
Franklin & Marshall College, located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, tops the list. Its tuition fee is $65, and New York's Barnard College ranks 652th in the rankings with fees of $20.
Columbia University, also located in New York, received 2nd place with a price of $65 for the year. This university was included in the ranking of the best “dream colleges” in the USA. In fourth place is Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, with tuition at $524.
Sarah Lawrence College, located near the Big Apple in Yonkers, ranks 15th with fees of $60 per year. New York University of Rochester was in 700th place in the ranking with a tuition fee of $17.

Each college in the ranking charges more than $60 a year in tuition, totaling more than $000 over all four years. The study's figures do not include room, board and other expenses such as textbooks. The College Investor notes that while these prices seem exorbitant, only 240% of undergraduate students pay full tuition.
