Most of the time, people don't go to the botanical garden to see (and smell) something that smells like rotting meat. But not in this case. Why you should get ready to run to the botanical garden, the publication said NBC New York.
In the Bronx Botanical Gardens, a flower known for its putrid odor could start blooming at any moment.
It is called the "corpse flower" - otherwise known as titus-arum or amorphophallus titanum.

What is remarkable about this particular flower? It hasn't bloomed in four years.
The Botanic Gardens hosted a live broadcast of the flowering at the Enid Haupt Conservatory.
As of Saturday, April 1, the wait for its opening is still ongoing. But once it blooms, you'll have to act fast to see it in person.
Its flowering lasts only 24 to 36 hours.
