In Brooklyn, a driver in front of his mother knocked down two little girls: they are in serious condition

Two sisters, aged 6 and 8, were seriously injured. A car driver hit them while they were crossing the street in Brooklyn on Nov. Daily News.
The girls were crossing Seventh Avenue near 57th Street in Sunset Park when a 41-year-old man driving a Honda swerved onto the avenue and hit them. The tragedy occurred around 14:15 pm, the cops and a witness said.
According to a witness, the girls' mother watched in horror as they lay on the road.
“The car turned around and hit two small children,” said Andy Oyang, 44. “They didn't move. Their mother was screaming and crying.”

Young, who runs a nearby grocery store, recalled that one of the girls suffered a severe head injury.
“The first girl looked like she had a big problem,” he said. One of the girls was unconscious and did not move. The second's face was pink with abrasions."
The victims were taken to Maimonides Hospital in a critical but stable condition.
The driver of the Honda remained at the scene and was not immediately charged.
