New exhibitions often open in New York, but they don't always happen in iconic locations. According to Time-out, a unique museum is opening in the building that once housed Century 21.
Mercer LabsThe Museum of Art and Technology (MOAT) is a new location you'll find at 21 Dey Street, in a building that was formerly part of Century 21.
The cultural institution, which has already been called "New York's first museum where art and technology come together to create an immersive experience," plans to hold a grand opening this February.
The project belongs to Israeli artist Roy Nachum and real estate guru Michael Caira. In total, the space occupies 3300 square meters. The three levels will house fifteen unique immersive experiences designed to “evoke and excite the senses using state-of-the-art technology.”
