The hidden photo gallery menu was found in the iPhone: everyone is delighted with it

There's a hidden menu for your iPhone Photos app that you can access in seconds, shares with readers New York Post.

A smart gesture quickly unlocks some of the app's shortcuts. It's all connected to Apple's Quick Actions feature, which works from the home screen.

Just long press on the app icon to unlock the hidden iPhone gallery menu.

The top two options are Apple-specific quick actions.

One is to simply remove the app from the home screen, and the other is to move the app.

But the bottom four options will let you quickly jump to specific features inside Photos.

First, it's a search, which is a very handy feature.

You can search for specific terms such as "lake", "dog", or "cheese". As if you were searching Google Images, you will be able to find relevant photos in your own feed. You can even search for specific events, such as a concert you attended.

“Photos for iOS can use the time and location of your snaps, along with online event listings, to find relevant photos,” Apple explained.

You can also search by location. You can enter a place name such as London to track photos of your trip to the UK capital.

Second on the list is a photo from a year ago

If you don't use favorites, it's worth a try. This is a great way to save your best photos - just click on the heart at the bottom of the photo to select your favorites folder.
