Passengers aboard a United Airlines plane were shocked to find an unexpected traveler crawling around in business class, reports Insider.
The snake was discovered on October 17 during the landing of a plane flying from Florida to Newark (New Jersey).

People in business class started screaming and lifting their legs when they spotted the snake on the plane, one passenger said.
The reptile was identified as a garter snake. Garter snakes, also known as grass snakes, typically reach 66 centimeters in length, according to the Florida Museum of Natural History. They are not poisonous and are not dangerous to humans.
As soon as the plane reached its destination, experts caught the snake. And then they released her into the wild, an airport official said.
According to a spokesman for the airline, no one was hurt and there were no disruptions to the airport. Passengers alerted flight attendants to the snake, and Newark airport staff helped deal with the situation.
Port authorities and the airline were unable to explain how the snake ended up on the flight.
This is not the first time that a snake has scared passengers on an airplane. An AirAsia flight was canceled in February after passengers discovered a snake in the plane's ceiling light.
The unfortunate incident also happened on a SunExpress flight earlier this year. Then a flight attendant discovered a snake head in her in-flight meal.
