The “Karen” phenomenon is difficult to understand, although you can always joke about the incomprehensible. That's what they want to do in New York. A new diner called Karen's Diner will open in the West Village on March 1, reports Time-out.

"Karen" is a common noun. In the English-speaking environment, it is used for brawlers, people who will always find something to complain about.

Operating in 14 different cities in the US, Australia and the UK, the diner will be run by, you guessed it, the Karen Group. She will work in New York until the end of 2023.

According to official website, expects "an absurd, unique atmosphere full of laughter, jokes, and first-class American diner-style food." Guests are warned that “the food is great and the service is provocative. But your visit will be unforgettable.”

There are several types of burgers on the menu, including “I Want to See the Manager” (two burgers, two slices of Swiss cheese, bacon, lettuce, pickles and mustard barbecue sauce), a vegan Trippy Karen Burger (portobello mushroom, cheese, lettuce, tomato and mustard sauce) and Basic Karen (Wagyu beef with Swiss cheese, tomato, lettuce, beetroot and garlic mayonnaise).

They also offer two types of hot dogs, a variety of side dishes and several desserts.
