Hall des Lumières, the first permanent immersive art center in Manhattan, is partnering with NASA to launch a limited-time exhibition, Destination Cosmos: The Immersive Space Experience. And if you've ever dreamed of jumping into a spaceship and going into space, then this exhibition is for you. Secret nyc.
Destination Cosmos: The Immersive Space Experience brings a whole new meaning to the world that revolves around you.
In 13 different sections, guests begin their journey to the stars at Cape Canaveral (just like real-life astronauts) and end up in the outer space of the universe, traveling through a maze of stars, planets and nebulae.
From a starry sky with constellations to an inside look at the American Apollo missions of the 1960s. Stunning NASA images combined with an otherworldly soundtrack create a unique journey through space and time without having to leave Earth.
In addition, you will be able to see the first steps of Neil Armstrong on the moon. And maybe even meet a Martian or two :)
And while we may be able to see Jupiter in the night sky next week during parade of planets, the exhibition will take you to the very heart of the planet after this astronomical phenomenon has passed. You'll also be able to glide through the rings of Saturn, a planet that won't be parading at the end of the month.

Destination Cosmos: The Immersive Space Experience opens April 7th and runs through June 4th.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $12 for children (ages 5 to 16). For more information you can visit their website.
See for yourself what our amazing universe looks like from a whole new perspective without leaving Earth!
