Soon, a completely new observation deck will open in one of the skyscrapers of New York. It combines the ideal height and location to show you the best views of the city. New York Post.
Summit One Vanderbilt, which calls itself "the most breathtaking observatory", will open its doors on October 21 atop the One Vanderbilt skyscraper, which is 427 meters high.
The three-level, mesmerizing establishment with an area of 6000 square meters occupies from the 91st to the 93rd floors. Mirrors, reflective panels and floor slots create a mock effect that plays with your sense of location and height.
365 meters on the ground
A clear glass elevator called Ascent will take visitors to the highest observation deck in Midtown - 365 meters above the ground.

Even worse, the skyboxes on the 92nd floor protrude outward from the tower's façade. It offers stunning views straight out onto Madison Avenue through clear glass floors. Mark Holliday, CEO of the company that built One Vanderbilt SL Green, has assured that they can support weights up to 5400 kg.
The lounge on the 93rd floor will offer snacks and drinks. They are available both indoors and on the terrace that wraps around the south and west sides of the building.
In good weather, you can see everything from the observation deck: from a taxi 335 m lower, to Jones Beach, 65 km from us. In addition, there are views of the Chrysler Building and thousands of other buildings. From a height, they all look like toys.
