On May 8, an action was held in Manhattan, the participants of which called on the inhabitants of the world to remember the Russian war in Ukraine, as well as the Second World War. Several hundred people gathered on one of the central squares of the city for the "Never Again" action. Ukrainform.
The participants came with Ukrainian flags and posters “Save Mariupol”, “Heroes do not die”, “Never again: 1939, 2022”, “Give weapons to Ukraine”.
Consul General of Ukraine in New York Oleksiy Golubov spoke at the rally: “Rashists resort to the same methods as the Nazis during World War II. They commit war crimes and genocide. The Nazis staged the Holocaust. And the Rashists are pursuing a policy of genocide against the Ukrainian people.”

A cardinal turning point in the attitude of peace to war was marked by a meeting of defense ministers of states supporting Ukraine in the German city of Ramstein. And the decision of the US presidential administration to help Ukraine.
“On the day of the end of the Second World War, we gathered to draw public attention to the current events in Ukraine,” said Artur Zgurov, the organizer of the action, Razom for Ukraine activist. He is convinced that the Russian military and the leadership of Russia are carrying out genocide, like the Nazis eighty years ago.
The action was also attended by representatives of the Jewish communities of New York.
After the rally, the demonstrators went to the Memorial to US Navy sailors who died during World War II. There, the rally participants laid a blue-and-yellow wreath at the foot of the monument.
