December 14, 2022 to February 10, 2023 at CUNY (City University of New York) at the James Art Gallery an exhibition of Ukrainian artists.
The determination of Ukrainian artists to fight for the preservation, creation and perpetuation of Ukrainian culture is unshakable. The joint project HI-RESOLUTION by Oleksiy Say, Nikita Kadan and Ksenia Malykh presents Ukrainian art to the New York public from the early 1990s to the present day. And at the same time it shows the real danger of losing all this because of the aggressive war unleashed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The abundance of artistic creation over these three decades is demonstrated through the immersive medium of contemporary art projections.
Since the beginning of the war, Ukrainian artists have tirelessly created dozens of posters. During the exhibition, some of them can be seen on Fifth Avenue.

A special selection of historical works includes colorful drawings for public mosaics and theatrical productions by dissident artist Alla Gorskaya. As well as fantastic visualizations of the technological inventions of the future Fedor Tetyanych.
Artists Alexei Sai, Nikita Kadan and curator Ksenia Malykh have been creating this project at the James Gallery in collaboration with Katerina Karl and Inga Leis over the past ten months.
Every day, Ukrainians live out their resolve to protect and support the prosperity of Ukrainian culture. They create mutual support, social structures and art that make their culture flourish and strong.
