A 22-year-old American student from New York has gone missing in France. Ken DeLand went to study at the University of Grenoble-Alpes. Parents created a special site to search for a guy Find Ken Deland.
On November 27, 2022, Ken last contacted his parents via WhatsApp. It is known that he left the house of his host family and boarded a train bound for Valence (France).
The last activity on Ken's phone was November 30, 2022.
“From the messages, we learned that Ken went to class on November 28th. However, since Sunday, November 27, there has been no connection from his phone or any social networks. According to authorities, Ken did not come into contact with any of the friends he made in France. Those who saw him in class on November 28 said that Ken looked normal,” the website says.

On November 29, Ken didn't come to class, his friends didn't see him. University officials filed a missing persons report and reported Ken missing.
According to initial investigations, Ken's actions on the morning of November 29 were as follows: Ken had breakfast, made a sandwich, and packed it with a change of clothes, wallet, and cell phone. Ken left all of his belongings at the host family's house, including a computer, tablet, train ticket, and phone charger. Ken had a conversation with a neighbor. The neighbor said that Ken was in high spirits.
Ken's bank was aware of his disappearance and allowed the police to trace the purchases. According to the records, Ken made a purchase at a sports store on Dec. 3 in Montelimar.
Ken is approximately 6 feet (1,8) tall and weighs 190 pounds (86 kg).
Ken was last seen wearing a red jacket, scarf, gray hat, blue jeans, sneakers, and a backpack.
He is on the French missing persons list. If he tries to leave France by train, he will be traced. But there are ways to travel without using your passport. Therefore, parents are asking for help from everyone who knows something or has seen Ken.
Ken began his studies at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, New York, but chose to complete his studies in Europe.
