Walmart and Netflix open joint online store with products from famous TV series

The world's largest retailer and streaming service have teamed up to open an online store. Walmart announced that it has launched the Netflix Hub at Walmart.com/netflix, which will become "the largest Netflix online consumer goods store in the United States." Writes about it USA Today.

“At Netflix, we love it when stories go beyond screens and become part of people's lives,” said Josh Simon, vice president of consumer goods for Netflix. "Walmart has given us the opportunity to set a new level of innovation in consumer entertainment products."

“Netflix fans are passionate about their show, and we saw an opportunity to convey these stories to them in new and exciting ways,” said Jeff Evans, executive vice president of entertainment at Walmart USA.

For fans of the show "Done!" (Nailed It!) Baking kits are also on sale in Walmart stores for $ 15,98.

“This is a good example of the exclusive experience we create for our clients,” Evans said. "This kit allows our customers to take part in the event from the comfort of their own kitchen."

The center will soon have a crowdsourcing feature called Netflix Fan Select, which will allow fans to vote on the items they'd like to see, Evans said.

“The idea is to offer shoppers the ability to vote on items from their favorite shows that they would like to own,” Evans said. - Think of it as a launch pad for Netflix products.
