'I will kill 15-30 people': unknown person threatens to shoot students of an elite Brooklyn school

A man claiming to be a student at an elite high school in Brooklyn is threatening to set up a shooting there on social media. Police are now investigating suspicious reports. New York Post.

“I'm going to shoot students at my Millennium Brooklyn High School in New York City with an MP15 assault rifle and a Glock 17 pistol in the next few weeks. And I will be streaming it live on Instagram,” a person wrote on the Omegle website on Thursday, June 2.

A school employee reported this threat to the police at 9 am on Friday (June 3).

“We are investigating this incident,” said Detective Denise Maroney.

The threatening message also stated that the shooter planned to play “dancin military style and abba gimme gimme eurobeat” music during the shooting.

“I hope to kill at least 15-30 people. Mostly in classrooms or corridors, plus a few people leaving the building, ”the threatening message says.

The would-be shooter, in a threatening message, vowed not to turn himself in to police and said he would shoot windows to scare off the cops. Before he starts shooting, he allegedly sends everyone a link to his stream. At the end of the message, the unknown person listed the names of more than a dozen students whom he allegedly plans to kill.

The message seems to be copied and compiled from social media threats that were made in previous months to schools throughout the area. However, it contains the name of the school and the names of some of the students. And that makes them take things seriously.

The building where Millennium Brooklyn High School is located houses several different schools. An employee of the Park Slope Collegiate, who is also in the building, sent an email to the parents informing them of the threat.

Over the past week, schools in New York and Long Island have received several reports of mass shooting threats.
