When Caroline Gates, a 29-year-old beauty who has been single for two years, got tired of the romantic rush, she took matters into her own hands—literally.

“I decided to make a sign that said ‘Looking for a husband’ and walked around the city to see if it would work,” said the model, who lives in SoHo.

Gates walked the streets of the city with her cardboard billboard after months of chatting with men on dating apps like Tinder and Hinge. But, in order not to lose hope, the potential bride decided to make an acquaintance personally, resorting to the help of higher powers.

“I really believe,” she said, “if I make a sign that I want something (husband, Birkin, Chanel), then the Universe will see it and send me exactly what I dream of.”

The stunning brunette South Asian, who moved to the US in 2017, has racked up more than 8 million views on TikTok for her footage of her hunting down her future hubby.
