A New York resident won a luxury apartment in the housing lottery. He published a video that took social networks by storm. The publication told in more detail New York Post.
An unknown man, who writes under the nickname McMurdaaaa on his social media pages, enthusiastically showed off his new apartment in Brooklyn on TikTok.
"Good morning! I was selected for the housing lottery, come see this apartment with me,” he said in the video, which has been viewed more than 1,4 million times.
Grabbing a large cup of iced coffee, he heads into the apartment and shows off the luxurious building.

The lobby has seating and a reception desk, and his own apartment has a large closet that is on every New Yorker's wish list, as well as a sparkling new bathroom with marble walls and a large mirror, and a spacious kitchen with lots of shelves and new household appliances.
If that's not enough, the Bronx musician can enjoy the rooftop lounge, which features lounge chairs, a grill, plenty of room for indoor or outdoor entertaining, and unparalleled views of the city.

The building also features a community games room with a pool table, tables and chairs, and a refrigerator.
Another New York rarity the supposed Amazon worker received in his new home was parking, a shared laundry room and a gym.
His only complaint?
“Why are they building such small apartments?” – he wrote.
According to NYC Housing Connect, apartment lotteries are held in all five boroughs of the city and offer affordable housing for a third or less of the winner's income.
To qualify for the lottery, a person must meet income and apartment size requirements, which vary by building.
In addition, the winner must be willing to submit a credit check or rental history, as well as pay the first month's rent and security deposit.
