New Yorker faces up to 7 years in prison for counterfeiting COVID-19 vaccination card

A man from Madison County, New York was arrested on October 1. His employer said he tried to use a fake Covid-19 vaccine card. Syracuse.
Devin R. Kemp, 24, of Eton, has been accused of using forged document second degree. The charge is a Class D felony.
The Department of Health's Vaccine Complaints Investigation Team contacted law enforcement on September 27. Prior to this, a private company in Marcy reported that Kemp had provided his employer with a fake vaccination card. Police declined to name the company that reported Kemp.

Kemp was taken to the Oneida County Public Safety Building to be indicted.
According to the New York State Unified Court System, if convicted, Kemp faces at least a suspended sentence without jail time, and a maximum of up to seven years in prison.
