The Grinch is a mischievous character with evil plans, but this green guy with a small heart is no match for New York's best and bravest: the firefighters. This year, he tried to steal Christmas at a party at a Staten Island firehouse, according to reports. Silive.
The notorious Grinch, or at least someone who looks like him, tried to show how evil he can be during the Engine 153/Ladder 77 Christmas party in Stapleton.
In a viral video on social media, Santa can be seen waving to an excited crowd. The Grinch then sneaks up from behind the back of the fire truck and snatches Santa's bag of gifts, throws it over his shoulder and runs away.
However, as he tried to escape, an NYPD SUV came around the corner. Within seconds, a pair of police officers handcuffed the Grinch and took him into custody to widespread jubilation.
