Samsung's Smart LED Signage brings a new art installation to Times Square that will amaze you. Until August 21, residents of the city can watch a digital waterfall fall down the One Times Square building. This is the same building on which a crystal ball falls on New Years. The publication told about the new attraction SecretNYC.
107 meter (350 ft) digital waterfall called Waterfall-nyc descends through the building thanks to four vertical displays. It is three times taller than Olafur Eliason's previous similar installation, Waterfall, brought to New York in 2008.
The installation, which showcases hyper-realistic ocean waves and a roaring waterfall, is definitely worth a visit! A video of the new attraction in all its glory has been posted on the Times Square NYC page.
The display is set up to provide New Yorkers with the wonders of digital art. It was taken to Times Square by tech giant Samsung and two other South Korean companies.
Waterfall-nyc plays for 60 seconds every 2-4 minutes. He will be in Times Square from August 3 to August 21.
