As it gets warmer, cherry blossom and other plants bloom throughout Central Park. Edition Time-out told where you can now look at the most beautiful flowering plants.
Central Park covers 843 acres (341 ha), so it can be difficult to find secluded beautiful places there. Especially for this, a map was created on which you can see which corner of the park is worth visiting.
There are nine areas worth exploring in total:
- Conservatory Garden - East Side at 104th-106th Streets
- North Meadow Butterfly Garden - Mid-Park at 103rd Street
- Reservoir - Mid-Park at 86th-96th Streets
- Shakespeare Garden - West Side at 79th Street
- The Ramble - Mid-Park at 73rd-79th Streets
- Cherry Hill - Mid-Park at 72nd Street
- Pilgrim Hill - East Side at 73rd Street
- Olmsted Flower Bed - Mid-Park at 66th Street
- Dene Slope - East Side at 65th-67th Streets
On the subject: Central Park was not in the plan of New York: what they wanted to build in its place and why they changed their mind
At the Butterfly Garden, visitors should pay attention to the types of shrubs and flowers that host different types of butterflies. Many colorful native plants can be seen at The Ramble. And if you want the famous cherry blossoms, head to Pilgrim Hill. If you decide to explore the latter area, be sure to take the short walk to Cherry Hill to see the cherry blossoms bloom.
