What services are covered by the plan?

This plan provides the same services as other health plans:

How much does it cost?

The program costs $ 20 per month per person (less than $ 1 per day) or is provided free of charge.

The plan does not require a deductible, so the program pays for your health care services right away.

Who is the plan for?

• For children under 19.
• Living in New York State.
• Ineligible for Medicaid.
• Not covered by other types of health insurance.
• Who are not or are not eligible for the New York State Health Insurance Program (NYSHIP).
• Children can be eligible for the program regardless of their immigration status.

How much does it cost?

Child Health Plus monthly premiums are based on income and family size. Low-income families do not pay monthly premiums. Higher income families pay monthly premiums according to the table below.

Families with many children make monthly payments for no more than three children. Families with incomes above the level required for subsidized coverage may pay the full premium, which depends on their health plan.

Child Health Plus has no copayments or annual deductibles.

How much does it cost?

The monthly payment will depend on the plan you choose.

Many are eligible for tax breaks that reduce their monthly premium. Individuals earning up to $ 51 per year and families of four with incomes up to $ 040 per year may be eligible for tax credits.

Cost sharing is the amount you pay yourself when you seek medical attention. Some people are also eligible for help with these costs based on their income.
