On Tuesday, November 12, New Yorkers are promised the first snow of the season. This publication writes NBC 4 NY.
First snow
"The first snow of the season may actually fall on Tuesday," the newspaper writes.
After a cold weekend, the temperature will rise slightly, and for the first time in 50 years, Monday will be comfortable for hosting the 100 annual Veterans Parade in New York.
However, closer to dinner on November 12, the conditions will change: at lunchtime, morning rain will turn into pieces of wet snow.
“Most of the snow is likely to melt on contact because the temperature will be above freezing on Tuesday, but if the white flakes fall continuously for several hours, slush may remain on the ground,” the source explained.

According to weather forecasts, by the evening of the same day, most of the precipitation should melt.
At the same time, on some elevations north and west of the city, snow accumulations can be up to 8 cm, because in these places, according to the Storm Team 4, it will freeze all day.
Severe frost
More significant weather changes await New Yorkers from Wednesday, November 13. Then there will be an explosion of arctic air, which is likely to bring record low temperatures and a cold wind to the region. A maximum of 0,5 degrees Celsius is expected.
A flash of cold air will not linger too long. On Thursday, November 14, the temperature warms up to 4 degrees Celsius, and by Friday it can reach 10 degrees again, and then fall again to 4 degrees closer to sunny Saturday.
