Thousands of Long Island residents were left without electricity after an overnight storm that brought gusts of wind and rain to the region. This is reported by the edition Daily voice.
As of 9:40 am on Sept.30, teams from the Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) were still working on 154 active outages on Long Island, affecting 5 of 081 customers.
В Suffolk Outages were reported by 4 out of 134 PSEG users in the following locations:
- Brookhaven: 2;
- Southampton: 338;
- Smithtown: 288;
- East Hampton: 140;
- Soutold: 122;
- Babylon: 120
- Huntington: 119;
- Riverhead: 107
- Islip: 82.
В Nassau reported interruptions to 939 of 488 PSEG clients:
- North Hempstead: 541;
- Oyster Bay: 218;
- Hampstead: 180.
Eight clients on the peninsula Rockaway also complained about power outages.
