The world's largest metro system has taken measures to protect police and passengers. About this with reference to New Y Police department (NYPD) writes edition FOXBusiness.
Antifa has planned a massive protest against New York police.
The group, known as Decolonize This Place, posted a video on Twitter Tuesday saying the demonstration was scheduled for 'J31', or Friday, January 31.
A threat warning was issued on January 30 by the New York City Police Benevolent Association (PBA).
New Yorkers should pay close attention: this is true endgame of the anti-police movement, an end of all policing & destruction of public order. Our members have spent their careers - and in some cases given their lives - to bring public safety back to NYC. We can't go backwards pic.twitter.com/X72vVioCVi

A spokeswoman for the NYPD said on January 31 that the department was "aware of the demonstration and will have an adequate police presence."

It is assumed that the left group plans to hold a rally against the presence of the police in the subway, as well as fares for $ 2,75. The venue has not yet been announced.
In a subsequent warning, the PBA wrote: “New Yorkers must pay close attention: this is the real finale of the anti-police movement, the end of all police activity and the destruction of public order. Our members spent their careers, and in some cases their lives, to bring public safety back to New York. We cannot back down. ”
Previous protests provoked by the same group have led thousands of people to take to the streets and commit acts of vandalism on railway platforms.
Friday morning Twitter posts talked about vandalism (or “creative sabotage”) regarding the ownership of the metro station, as well as student and other major gatherings.
Banners were hung on the facades of buildings and major transport hubs, in particular Oculus, which is near the World Trade Center. On the walls of some stations messages were drawn, including those with the inscription: “FTP”.
The start of the protest is scheduled for 17:00 at the Grand Central Terminal.
Note that to date, the PBA represents nearly 50 active and retired New York police officers.
