A spectacular skating rink will soon open under the Brooklyn Bridge: what will surprise this place

New ice skating rink Glide, located under the Brooklyn Bridge, will open on November 15 and will be available to visitors until March 1. Whether you are a professional or a beginner skater, this place promises to be ideal for an active winter holiday.

The skating rink is located at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza, making it easily accessible by foot, subway, and NYC Ferry. Walk along New Dock Street to the Brooklyn Bridge Park entrance and look for signs for Glide at Brooklyn Bridge Park located to the left of the Empire Fulton Ferry.

In close proximity to the skating rink are iconic New York City landmarks Jane's Carousel and Empire Fulton Ferry, as well as popular restaurants such as the River Café, Luke's Lobster and Van Leeuwen Ice Cream.

Please note that the number of tickets at the box office is limited, the organizers advise book in advance on the website. Ticket prices for adults start at $15, and for children – from $9. Tickets do not include skate rental.

“Hot” days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as well as holidays, are considered peak days, and special pricing applies for these days ($25 for adults and $12 for children). However, New York City residents can purchase tickets at a reduced rate of $9. Simply show proof that you live in New York City (such as IDNYC, library cards, or driver's license).

Skating sessions last 50 minutes, with the first session starting at 10:00 a.m. and the last session at 20:55 p.m. The ice rink measures an impressive 800 square meters, so there's plenty of room to roam around and practice your pirouettes.
