Woman knocked down mother with four children in Brooklyn and fled the scene

A mother and four of her children were hit by a driver who hit Brooklyn on November 30 in the evening, reports ABC7.
The incident took place shortly before 17 p.m. at the intersection of New York Avenue and Jay Avenue in Midwood.
Police claim they were trying to stop a white Mercedes-Benz on Flatbush Avenue. But the driver of the car pulled onto Avenue J, passing stop signs before crashing into a family.

At the time of the incident, the mother was waiting with her younger children while her two older children got off the school bus.
“When the Mercedes-Benz hit the woman, she flew off and hit the ground. The child was also lying on the ground, shaking,” said one of the witnesses.
“God help them, it's so terrible. The driver just left,” another witness said.
The police found the car of the criminal, but the driver managed to escape by that time. According to police, a woman was driving. There have been no arrests in this case yet.
Among the victims are a 41-year-old mother, her one-year-old daughter, a 3-year-old son, and 5- and 8-year-old daughters.
The five injured were taken to a nearby hospital in a stable condition. All of them are expected to survive.
