New York airports lead the US in the number of strange finds in luggage: what passengers tried to smuggle in 2020

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has published a list of the 10 strangest finds in passenger luggage in 2020. Many of them were found at airports in the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey and Connecticut). Writes about it CBS Local.
Newark Liberty, John F Kennedy Airport and LaGuardia are all on the list.
Under 8 number The list of the 10 strangest finds included 107 fireworks rockets found in a travel bag at LaGuardia Airport in November 2020.
The find on line 5 is was also found at LaGuardia airport. It was a device that resembled a homemade bomb. It turns out it was a homemade humidor (cigar storage box) with a partially smoked cigar.
Find at number three was taken at Newark Liberty International Airport, where TSA agents discovered a long rifle, magazine and ammunition hidden behind the lining of a suitcase.

Under the number 2 the list turned out to be a suspicious device found at the John F. Kennedy airport. It consisted of two large electronic devices connected to a power source. The agents thought it might be an improvised explosive device. But it turned out that it was a solar panel that was redesigned to power two devices.
TSA reports that the biggest catch of the year was that in June two dog handlers working at Newark Liberty, fell in love and got married... Their dogs, Obelix and Proto, participated in the wedding ceremony.
