Michelin released its restaurant guide for the 2020 year. Five of 76 restaurants in New York, which were included in the world-famous rating, are marked with three stars. This publication writes Gothamist.
“With an international gastronomy and tourism destination, New York continues to be the world leader in variety of cuisine, wealth of talent and experience of chefs,” said Gwendal Poullenneck, Michelin's International Director of Guides.
Inspectors were especially impressed with the five criteria of the Guidelines, “including the quality of the ingredients, the cooking skill, the harmony of tastes, the constancy in time and the individuality of the chef”.
The publication indicated that 76 restaurants in New York were on the list, of which the five best remained at last year's positions, these are: Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fare, Eleven Madison Park, Le Bernardin, Masa and Per Se.
