New York City police are preparing for new protests as the presidential election approaches. Cops should be on full alert starting October 25th. The edition writes about it Fox News.
New York police are preparing for a new wave of mass protests in connection with the approaching presidential elections and the beginning of controversial hearings on the candidacy of Amy Connie Barrett to the post of judge of the Supreme Court. This is stated in a memo received by The Post.
In order for the police to deal with the expected protests in the city, the department will require most police officers to report to duty in uniform and “be ready to deploy,” starting October 25.

“November 3 will be one of the most controversial presidential elections of the era. There is also a high probability that the winner of the presidential election will not be determined within a few weeks, the note says. “Accordingly, we must anticipate and prepare for protests that will grow in size, frequency and intensity in the run-up to elections and, most likely, in 2021.”
