The White House has quietly resumed its underage charter flights to a suburban airport north of New York. Writes about it New York Post.
Journalists noticed how a group of illegal teenagers on April 14 at 21:25 got off the Avelo Airlines plane, which arrived at Westchester County Airport near White Plains. She then boarded three waiting buses, which left about 50 minutes later.
One bus was bound for Cherry Hill, New Jersey. When it stopped at around 00:45 on April 15, several teenagers got out of the car, took their bags from the luggage compartment and left with the adults who were waiting for them there.
The bus continued south on the New Jersey Turnpike.
The plane, which landed in Westchester, took off from El Paso International Airport in Texas and made a stop in Jacksonville, Florida, online flight records show.
In October, reporters uncovered a series of similar flights as evidence that the government was bringing illegal teens to suburban New York amid an ongoing humanitarian crisis at the Mexican border.
“The resumption of flying is like a spit in the soul of the hard-working taxpayers in New York,” said former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino. - It's frustrating. It's outrageous".
Astorino, the Republican gubernatorial nominee, also accused Democratic Gov. Kathy Hokul of "complicity in this," noting that the newly approved state budget allows illegal immigrants aged 65 and over to apply for state-funded Medicaid benefits.

“We have high taxes, failing schools, crime is out of control, and we use taxpayer money to help illegal immigrants,” he said.
Astorino, who has made migrant flights a key campaign issue, said he thinks the border shuttles were up and running again last month.
An Immigration and Customs Enforcement source said no matter what happened in Westchester, "flights never stopped" to other airports across the country.
“They just kept working and working,” the source assured.
According to the latest data from the US Customs and Border Protection, in February, crossing the southwestern border averaged about 5900 people per day.
But recently, the Department of Homeland Security said it was preparing to increase that number to 18 following the May 000 repeal of a federal rule called Section 23. It allows for the immediate removal of illegal adult immigrants in a public health emergency.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which established this rule, has announced that unaccompanied immigrant minors are not subject to removal.
The White House declined to say why flights to Westchester were resumed, but said they were used to "transport unaccompanied minors to verified sponsors or relatives with whom they will await the outcome of their immigration proceedings."
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services stated that "our legal responsibility is to provide safe and appropriate care for unaccompanied illegal children while they are in our care, and this includes transportation to verified sponsors while they are waiting immigration procedures.
