As many New Yorkers plan to vote by mail this year, the NYC Board of Elections has launched a ballot tracking program. This will help ensure collection of ballots and counting of votes.
How to use the program
To use the program, you just need to enter in online tracker some information. This can be a confirmation code, last name or any other information about the voter (name, date of birth, postal code, etc.).
You can also use the website to check the status of your absentee ballot application as soon as you submit it. Please be aware that the system is updated every 24 hours, but it can take up to 72 hours to log in.
