Until it gets colder: in which parks in New York are free film screenings still held, and what can you see

As part of the city's Movies Under the Stars program, spooky Halloween movies will be screened in parks throughout the city throughout October. As well as classic films for family viewing, according to timeout.
In total, New Yorkers will be able to watch more than 150 films in all five boroughs - completely free. Go see Hocus Pocus (very lucky considering the sequel just came out on Disney+), The Addams Family, Beetlejuice, and Chilling.
Seats will be reserved for the elderly and people with disabilities. And guests can bring their own food and chairs to enjoy the view.
While outdoor film screenings in New York City are quite common during the summer, their season will soon be over. So don't miss the opportunity to watch a movie on Halloween and breathe in the fresh New York air.
