Mayor Bill de Blasio supported the idea of banning serial trespassers from entering the New York subway and buses.
“If someone poses a threat to others, then this proposal (a ban on entering the subway) should be considered,” the mayor said.
“Many people are worried that there are people in the subway who are unsafe,” he added. “If we can guarantee that the ban will be introduced in accordance with the Constitution, I think this idea has some real reasons.”

Last week, New York City police said serial offenders convicted of crimes in the subway more than once could forever be barred from entering the subway and buses. Earlier this month, State Governor Andrew Cuomo also supported such a ban.
Last week, Post reported that police again arrested James Hunt, one of Dirty Dozen's perpetrators, who had many arrests for sexual offenses in the subway. He was detained at 42nd Street Bryant Park station for molesting an 13-year-old girl who bought MetroCard.
