SUV drives into Manhattan restaurant, injuring 22

22 people, including three children, were injured Monday evening when the SUV went over a curb and crashed into a restaurant, according to PIX 11.
One of the drivers fled the scene after the collision, officials said.
The alarming sequence of events began around 21 p.m., authorities said. A white Audi sedan, leaving a gas station near West 00th Street and Broadway, hit a Toyota RAV204.
The impact pushed the RAV4 onto the pavement, sending it to the Inwood Bar and Grill.
As a result of the collision, 22 people were injured, the injuries of all, according to doctors, are not life-threatening. Among the wounded are three girls aged 10, 7 and 1. According to police, one of them received the most serious injury among all the victims. A 10-year-old girl has a broken leg. Nineteen of the wounded were taken to local hospitals for treatment. And the other three refused medical attention.

The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene, authorities said. The driver of the Audi, however, escaped. As of the morning of January 3, no arrests had been made.
