However, a few years later, the old enemies of the Ten Rings - the Iron Gang - kill Yin Li. In pursuance of his revenge, Wenwu puts on the rings again and resumes his criminal activities. Shang-Chi begins to comprehend martial arts and at the age of 14, on the instructions of Wenwu, he is sent to kill the leader of the Iron Gang. After completing the mission, a broken Shang-Chi escapes to San Francisco and takes the name Sean.
