Police found a 4-year-old girl abandoned on a street in the Bronx after midnight on February 27. The police are now looking for the child's parents or guardians. Writes about it NYDailyNews.
The girl, who told investigators her name was Sidaya, was seen standing alone near Prospect Avenue and East 156th Street in the South Bronx just after midnight on Saturday, February 27. It was 40 degrees Fahrenheit (4,4 Celsius) outside and little Siday was wearing a sweater but no jacket.
After a worried passer-by called the police, the police picked up the baby and took her to the hospital for examination. Police said she was discharged from the hospital under the care of the Children's Office. The doctors said that the child was healthy.
The video from the surveillance cameras shows that the girl was walking with the woman four blocks from the place where Sidai was found alone. The woman walks far ahead of the little girl on Fox Street near Leggett Avenue, stops to look around when little Sitting almost catches up with her, and then just walks away.
