The Coast Guard had to escort the Carnival Magic liner to New York: a large-scale brawl with dozens of participants broke out during the cruise

A brawl that broke out between dozens of passengers aboard the Carnival Magic cruise ship was sparked by accusations of adultery during the trip, reports New York Post.

Travel agent Teresa James said the fight started around 2 a.m. on the fifth floor of the ship. There is a dance club and a casino.

The threesome of the passengers of the liner upset their loved ones when they found out about what had happened. Participants in the fight broke beer bottles and even cut a woman during the chaos. The fight lasted about an hour and led the participants from the fifth floor to the first. About 60 people participated in the riots.

James thanked Carnival and its security team for getting the situation under control. She described the guests involved in the fight as ignorant fools acting stupid.

The security service had to call the coast guard to help escort the ship to shore. The ship arrived on the morning of June 28, and the New York police were waiting for it at the dock. Carnival said the ship docked in Manhattan as planned.

It is unclear if the participants in the brawl were arrested, or if New York or New Jersey authorities will look into the case, as the fight may have taken place in international waters.

In the meantime, James said that while the cruise got busy towards the end, it was a great vacation overall. She has already booked another cruise with Carnival for August.
