Popular Broadway shows will be free to watch this fall

Residents of Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and the Bronx will be able to watch performances from such box office productions as "Wicked", "Moulin Rouge", "Chicago" for free. There will also be snippets of new hits such as "Six" and "Beetlejuice" in late September and October. New York Daily News.
The Broadway in the Boros concert series presented by the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment returns for the fifth time after a two-year hiatus.
Every Friday afternoon there will be open-air concerts featuring clips from the aforementioned Broadway musicals and beloved shows Little Shop of Horrors and Kinky Boots. During the performance, special places for wheelchairs and sign language interpreters are provided. Those who wish will be able to get free Broadway tickets and T-shirts.
